(32,853 posts)43. I, too, loved the Sanford & Son theme song
as well as the "Sesame Street" theme song
But, IMO, the best TV Intro song ever was for the short-lived sitcom
"Get a Life" (1990-1992) which starred Chris Elliott, (who played a 30-year-old paper boy living in his parents' garage), with Bob Elliott, his real-life Dad, playing his Dad on the show.
The song was "Stand" by R.E.M.
I also loved the theme song for "77 Sunset Strip"

Bonanza's opening theme wasn't bad. But I never understood why the map always burst into flame.

They used to have a branding iron with the Chevy logo touch it and that started the fire.
