Elleng:
just between us, you can't provide the music, that's up to his parents. You can send a player and CDs til the cows come home, but his parents have to turn it on.
Let's hope they share your love of the Classical, then your wonderful looking grandson(I saw his photo on the photo forum) will grow up with it and be more well rounded than many.

Story time:
My grandson was three when both these incidents happened. He grew up with his mother and father who are now divorced. Classical music actually was involved because his mother, an oboist, made off with a cellist. His mom taught piano and oboe and flute and played the classics all the time.

My son and the little one were in a shoestore, I was with them, so this is first hand reporting. Hank Williams Jr. was loud through the air. Grandson stopped. Listened. Said, LOUD: "Daddy, turn that off please. Is really sucks."

Another time, in a clothing store, elevator music. He said: please turn that music off, it's making me sick. Of course the music kept playing. A little later he was on his back, like a little bug struggling with his legs in the air.
We said: Ivan, get up. What's the matter with you. He said: "Call an ambulance, I told you this music is making me sick."

So Elleng, your intention is wonderful. I hope they play Mozart and Beethoven and Liszt and Chopin. You will just have to deal with the consequences.

Grandson is now in Arts School. UNCSA
