16. For me remembering is wonderful!

I can close my eyes and put myself back in our front yard when I was a kid.

We had a couple big cherry trees in front of our house, and a grove of maple trees across the driveway. On a warm summer afternoon the tree leaves made a beautiful rustling sound in the breeze.

We could look across the lake and see the Seattle skyline (such as it was 65 years ago) and on a clear day look beyond to the Olympic mountains. Sometimes we would see a beautiful sunset like your gorgeous photo.

Those days are gone now, and the trees and our house, also. But my memories of them are still vivid and I am glad I can go back to those memories anytime I want to.

Thanks for posting your photo.
