Portage County Sherrif update [View all]
Portage County Sheriff "Write-'em-down" Bruce D. Zuchowski now has the attention of the Ohio branch of the ACLU thanks to concerned citizens complaints.
ACLU of Ohio Deputy Policy Director Collin Marozzi said, "Voter intimidation flat out is illegal. It is against the Ohio Revised Code. It is against federal law to intimidate voters into not casting their vote of their choice, so this is very serious." The ACLU of Ohio is calling on Zuchowski to retract his statements.

The U.S. DOJ has also been made aware:
At least a handful of Portage County residents have filed complaints with the U.S. Department of Justice and local authorities over an inflammatory social media post last weekend by Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski.

But wait, there's more! Back-pedalin' Bruce issued a new post today:
After backlash from the community, Zuchowski responded in another Facebook post saying his recent post may have been a little misinterpreted (emphasis mine). If the citizens of Portage County want to elect an individual who has supported open borders [
] and neglected to enforce the laws of our country then that is their prerogative, Zuchowski posted Tuesday evening. With elections, there are consequences. That being said, I believe that those who vote for individuals with liberal policies have to accept responsibility for their actions! I am a Law Man
Not a Politician!
