Hillary Clinton

(7,506 posts)Since I don't just rely on that show for my news, I started to notice that very often facts were missing, misstated, or seemingly purposely distorted. I figured it couldn't be the latter most of the time, and chopped it up to being due to time constraints rather than nefarious intention. However, when the primary season started, I figured that we'd get even handed coverage of the candidates. Instead I noticed that Secretary Clinton was attacked even if the story was unrelated to politics or about the Republicans. It became really annoying for me when there was more glowing coverage -- maybe not positive but certainly without the disdain for Hillary in tone -- for Donald Trump. Then it became so bad during their coverage of debates that even their Sanders fans (albeit very rarely) started to say what's the point of watching with their bias? Why? Well, they typically have the following videos posted after any debate and you can guess who won each category by the titles:
- Best line of the debate > pro-Bernie
- Worse line of the debate > pro-Hillary
- Debate's biggest loser > pro-Hillary
- Debate's biggest winner > pro-Bernie
- Summary of the debate > pro-Bernie
The above compounded with their poor coverage of other stories and Cenk's "personality" forced me to cancel my monthly subscription and stop watching altogether.
