50. Yep. Big bookworm and used to do a lot of writing. Got a paper/study published in a few journals

a few years ago when I was in grad school. I'm very out of practice but you and a few others here are helping me get my juices going again. Right now, I'm a therapist and work with mentally ill adults so barely do any real writing. I am having a field day here on DU, however, it's a virtual Petri dish of insanity, cognitive dissonance, and group think. Love seeing what people write on this forum - some great writers here on the Hillary Group. Am really thinking about doing a paper about this place. My area of specialty is group behavior. (Why people do the effed up things they do, how so many people can fall victim to group think and cognitive dissonance.)

I could use some research partners/volunteers/editors - so if you're interested, let me know. Need some good writers. You don't get paid much for getting a paper published in a medical/psych journal but it looks good on a resume' and they send you to a lot of conferences and presentations if you like that sort of thing. You could add a lot of humor and some punch to the publication. I need a good editor too if you're good at that.

If nothing else, we could have a lot of fun. Most of these journals like timely and new subject matter and will beg you to publish your paper. It's an adventure......
