Unless people organize to follow up, these revelations will drop into the black maw of contemporary info overload.
On modern organized efforts: you are mostly right. They are either corrupt, timid, or locked into the prevalent world-view. The bravest and best among them are the McDonald's and the Walmart workers. They have the courage to call for a $15 min wage - which would at least be marginally meaningful - while the rest of the "progressive" landscape, in thrall to O'Bomber and locked in the world of the "posssible" call for meaningless nothings like a $9 min ....
