Now I view any policy to increase energy consumption instead of reducing it as insane. Or at least totally disconnected from reality.

That's what I'm attacking in these posts - not renewable energy, not nuclear power, but energy-fueled growth and those who promote it. The source of the energy is irrelevant. Even if the windmills were spun by unicorn farts their electricity would still drive planet-destroying growth.

We have grown for far too long. The party is coming to an end, and the hangover is taking a hundred different forms. The only sane option now is outright reduction, starting with energy consumption of all kinds. Anything else is denialism.

We have to start having this conversation, but that's exactly what relentless bullying boosterism like yours prevents.
