It' Just Going To Get Worse in Twisp / Okanogan

Last year with the Carlton Complex fire, we lost 300 homes in Okanogan County. This year the county is on fire again, and most of the major towns are facing evacuation. They are even calling for volunteers. After watching 2 days of fire coverage on the local news, including comments by our politicians, not one word about climate change, or global warming, or how it may be making the fires worse. It is just going to get hotter, and drier, and the fires are just going to get worse and worse from year to year. That is the trend, and there is no mention of this fact whatsoever in the local news. I say this as I watch my Methow Valley burn. Again.
