Showing Original Post only (View all)Caught on tape: Palestinian hurls brick at car [View all]
A teacher was on her way home to the West Bank settlement of Karmei Tzur on Tuesday when she found herself the target of a rock salvo that smashed her windshield.
"I saw crowds on my left and on my right," Weiss recalled. "I knew that something was happening, but I had to continue driving because I didn't see any cops of soldiers in the area."
Luckily, Weiss said, her car is armored, but even so "the windshield was shattered and the exterior was dented in several places. They were throwing bricks, not stones."

Of course, this non-violent form of popular resistance is not newsworthy according to the western press. Imagine a picture capturing settler youth (encouraged by their parents) throwing bricks at passing Palestinian cars. I wonder if the mainstream western press would find such a story newsworthy in any way...
What's disgusting is the media collusion behind these rock throwing incidents. A dozen or more journalists somehow "know" something bad is about to go down. They're somehow in the right place at the right time to capture scenes that paint Israelis in a dark light, but never Palestinians.
