Whole wheat 18-hour loaf and salad. I'm still stocking easy to eat meals for my neighbor who is having three more teeth extracted tomorrow morning. With this soup, I'll have piled up 2 meals of butternut-apple soup, one potatoes and gravy microwave meal that includes a baby lamb chop she can nibble, and today's leek & potato soup will make 5 meals. Can't wait for tomorrow night's debate! We'll probably just do leftovers, but I may get inspired.
Another note: Discovered making microwave popcorn from regular popcorn in a plain, brown paper lunch bag. Recipe: 1 lunch bag, 1/3 C. popcorn, fold top of bag twice and place in the microwave on high for 3 minutes, but don't go away! Mine was done in 2 min. and 19 seconds! Add salt (and/or other seasonings or cheese) immediately while the corn is still hot (if you are adding salt). Easy, quick, and cheap!!!
