Don't forget, one of our resident "experts" recommended both cans of beans and bicycle wheels that they had used to successfully defend himself from criminals.

Of course he also, in a rare moment of honesty, admitted to having a criminal record that precluded him from firearm ownership too. It also might explain their reluctance to allow home owners to have guns too.
