You know, i was at Medinah the last time the PGA was there. There was an accident at the intersection right near the course. The impact occurred just as Tiger was swinging his dirver and he hit it 330 right down the middle. Then at the green behind us, a guy ( i forget now who it was) hit a bunker shot to about 2 feet while sirens were blaring. All this happened about 100 yards from the tee box we were behind.

Club players play on courses with train tracks near by, play through horn blasts and the train clickety-clack, cars going by on the edge roads, silly little boys yelling "fore" as they drive by, etc.

Too many of these guys played exclusively on tawny country clubs growing up and don't know how the other 24 million of us learned to play and still play the game.

Seems pretty weak to blame a cellphone for a bad shot.
