I (mostly) grew up in Walnut Creek just over the hill, and my whole family still lives in the 680 corridor there.

And I've partied (including concerts and sporting events) in Berkeley and Oakland like 1000 times, so ... when a famous football player is from N. Cal, and went to UCB, I tend to pull for them to do well.

He has disappointed me greatly of late ... it's been disillusioning.
