but which you apparently chose to close your mind to, the fact that a lot of people share a mistaken belief or delusion does not make it less mistaken or deluded, only more socially acceptable. Lots of people (the majority of American Christians, in fact) believe in creationism too, there are insitutes devoted to its study and lots of books written about it, and yet you dismiss that belief as ridiculous. Is that a smear by you of other people's deeply held beliefs?
