From various online sources.

The significance of March 4th predates the Constitution. The Confederation Congress, which operated under the Articles of Confederation (our first Constitution) picked March 4, 1789, as the day it handed off power to the new constitutional government. March 4th was the Constitution's first official day in business. (Changed to January 20 by 20th amendment in 1933.)

The Fourth of July celebrates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. The Declaration announced the political separation of the 13 North American colonies from Great Britain.

Election Day in the United States of America is the Tuesday following the first Monday in November in even numbered years . It can fall on or between November 2 and November 8. Set by the 28th congress on January 23, 1845.

March 4 to July 4 to early Nov.
