The republicans "love the poorly educated" as Trump so famously said during his campaign. These are people who don't understand the cause and effect of good governance, who don't have the tools to think critically before they vote and have no comprehension of the Constitution and civil liberties (other than their right to own a gun).

No wonder they don't understand man made climate change and believe in "intelligent design."
