151. What would be your explanation? I didn't make it up.

I didn't believe in ghosts before the incident. None of us did and I'm not sure that I do now, but you asked me what the difference was between souls and ghosts and this story came to mind. If you can come up with a better theory, I'm listening. But the most obvious to me was some kind of precognition, which resulted in a physical manifestation, commonly described as ectoplasm.
This falls into the realm of the paranormal, rather than the supernatural. I have no evidence or belief that ghosts exist beyond death. The paranormal writer Paul Roland in his book The Complete Book of Ghosts (2007) argues that ghosts are the "manifestation of people still living, proving that out-of-body experiences are not as rare or as impossible as some people might think".
