Things a Progressive wouldn't do [View all]
- Sign of on weapons deals worth billions to countries that oppress their own people, hold mass executions of political enemies, and denigrate women
- Call those weapons deals a "top priority"
- Deliberately hide and obscure who is donating to your "foundation"
- publicly promote dictators to help a campaign donor get a uranium deal
- Endlessly lie about your political opponent during a campaign
- Use racist dog whistle politics to win votes
- Hire the owner of a massive lobbying firm as your campaign chairman
- Support that notion that hundreds of thousands of children should be imprisoned because they're monsters
- Change your stump speech to try and co-opt your opponents momentum
etc etc.
Pretending that progressives would do this, or that this is progressive behavior is DISHONEST.
Progressives don't check their morality at the door to make money or to win power. They don't change their beliefs for political gain.
Hillary WILL win SC today, but a progressive won't.
