Like you said, most politicians use ghostwriters. I believe Hillary did have a ghostwriter whom she chose not to credit for "It Takes Village" - this came out in 2008 when she accused Obama of "plagiarizing" a line from one of Deval Patrick's speeches.

The only politicians I know of who wrote their own books entirely are the president and the late Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
