and we lefties on DU will grumble about it. However, a mushy middle moderate will be such an enormous improvement over a raging right wing bigot that the grumbling should be subdued and short lived. The Republicans will grandstand but with whispers of Warren being nominated--or appointed during a recess--they'll eventually confirm him or her.
