10. Let me be clear - I see this as working from within the Party

It's sending a message directly to the Dem Party leaders, one that is, intentionally, purely symbolic.

I don't want people to change party affiliation permanently, just till the day after GE. It's an alternative option for those that are considering leaving permanently, and it's the equivalent of firing a gun into the air to prove that it's loaded.

Send a message without harming the Party - I absolutely do see that as working from within the Party.
