7. Frankly, I think their public purposes come across as a bit scammy.

There's always a social justice carrot used to curry public support for something that results in the same failures.

i.e.: They claim that they deregulated the mortgage process so that the poor could get loans, which was disingenuous because they were also stripping the U.S.A. of good paying jobs with their trade bills. And to reward their cronies they approve public infra-structure, ensuring that tax dollars go to their cronies, or Republicans they need to appease.

What a mess.
