There are various concepts being promoted on this site, including anti-"purism," anti-"far left," accusations of racism and sexism, etc. As someone who voted for Sanders in the primary, I do not think that this is ultimately about Sanders.

There is a necessity, in my opinion, to struggle for the future of the Democratic Party. It is the responsibility of progressive-minded people to articulate and fight for a political program. I think that this can be done while acknowledging those Democrats who disagree and without being hostile.

I wish that many more former posters to this site would again post and contribute to a lively discussion about the future of the Democratic Party. There are many fields on which to struggle.
