James Murdoch is joining the board of an influential Washington think tank founded by former senior advisers in the Obama administration, fuelling conjecture that he is hedging the family's media empire in preparation for a potential Hillary Clinton Democratic presidency.
The Center for a New American Security said on Tuesday that the 21st Century Fox chief executive would help provide "oversight and set CNAS' strategic direction" for the foreign policy organisation.
The Center for a New American Security said on Tuesday that the 21st Century Fox chief executive would help provide "oversight and set CNAS' strategic direction" for the foreign policy organisation.
The appointment of James Murdoch will boost his profile in Washington and provide an entry into national security issues, building on his professional rehabilitation since moving to New York from London after a phone hacking scandal engulfed Murdoch's British tabloid operations in 2012.
James's wife Kathryn previously worked for the Clinton Climate Initiative and the couple have created the Quadrivium Foundation, to advocate for aligning economic and environmental health, according to her profile on the organisation's website.
Fleas, thick as thieves, everywhere.

Probably. But I also think GOP/GOP-lite is paving the way for her to win (for obvious reasons)
