In reply to the discussion: Joe Biden called Kamala Harris a 'kid' and it has not gone down well [View all]WePurrsevere
(24,259 posts)older family and friends (by that age I had been married, had 3 children, lost one and divorced) until I realized it wasn't said as an insult, saying that I was 'a' kid, but with affection more like Bogie to Bergman in Casablanca and in the newer (thrn) 1982 song hit, Key Largo by Bertie Higgins.
Since I've gotten the feeling that Biden likes and respects Harris, and she him, I'm very sure he said it with affection not condensation. It wasn't a great choice of words for him but at the same time it's very 'Biden' being Biden and just being the warm person he is.
Actually if Biden wins the primary I suspect Harris is way up near, it not at, the top of his list for VP and I think she knows that too.
There are so many other things for us to get upset about, this is just another bs attempt at distraction from real issues our country has.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
