In reply to the discussion: Warren supporters need to know that their vote for Warren could wind up being a vote for Bernie. [View all]Gothmog
(146,403 posts)Trying to shame a lawyer is amusing but a waste of time. I have read and understood a number of good analysis on the issue on whether Warren's health care plan works and can be paid for and these issues were discussed on other threads. I do not believe that Warren's plan to pay for her health care plan stands up to analysis and I note that even Warren has stopped talking about his plan. This thread is not about the viability of Warren's health care plan. Posting weak attempts at analysis of Warren's plan will not change my mind.
As for the topic of this thread, I believe in the concept that voters should have all necessary information so that they can make an informed decision. If there is a real chance that a vote for Warren will result in that vote really being for sanders, then Warren supporters are entitled to that information. Warren can clean things up by stating that she rejects Robert Reich's proposal and that she will not agree to a joint ticket with sanders if she wants to deal with this issue. I do note that 30% to 33% of Warren's supporters have sanders as their second choice and these voters will be happy with this plan. 67% to 70% of Warren supporters may not want their vote for Warren to really be a vote for sanders and these Warren supporters deserve all available information
I plan on working hard to turn Texas blue and helping down ballot candidates get elected. I strongly believe that Joe Biden is the strongest candidate and is the most electable and the polling backs me up on this. Trying to shame me is a waste of time but did make me smile
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
