In reply to the discussion: Warren or Sanders? [View all]Tweedy
(628 posts)112. Warren beats this president
More effectively than she defeated former Mayor Bloomberg.
We need the wisdom of the American people, here. There is such a wisdom. It is wide and it is deep. It is found inside each of us and all of us thrown together.
I cannot claim to have a handle on that.
Nonetheless, I can assure you from the bottom of my heart that wisdom comes not from polls. Wisdom comes from inside yourself.
Please utilize your own wisdom to decide which candidate is the right one for this moment.
If you still choose Bernie, your choice will mean more to you imho.
You will be exercising your right to self government.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

I'd choose Warren if forced, although either likely ensures trump II and puts House at risk.

I'm a moderate. But I cannot understand why any progressive would prefer Sanders to Warren.

Agreed. Don't give up leverage to appease people who will never vote for you.

So with that issue being a wash... there's no real reason to support Bernie over Warren...

If you were a Sanders supporter, someone might say that your rudeness reflected your candidate.

Warren and Bernie are both great, but I think Bernie has a better chance of beating trump.

I'm slowly leaning toward Warren, but I'll also back ANY candidate the majority chooses.

I would be happy with either; from March 2019 until early January I had Warren as my preference
