(628 posts)On what subject did Senator Sanders seriously try to legislate?
Where is Bernie's campaign finance reform bill?
Election security bill?
Have been watching Congress fretfully for years (since before the fall of Glass-Steagall). I even read the senate record 🤓.
Yet, somehow, some way, Bernie's heroic proposed legislation escaped me. What was it? More than one?
His M4A looks like a messaging bill right now, which could be intentional. It is dispiriting.
Amy Klobuchar has what, 4-5? How many does Bernie Sanders have waiting out there? Do tell. Anxiously awaiting.
Curious how I fell for a meme, friend.
Not a fan of twitter, Facebook or cable news. There are no teenagers in my house.
Alas, I no longer get congressional quarterly.
If Bernie Sanders made some big legislative push that I missed do tell. I highly doubt I did. I am aware he proposes a lot of amendments-- hardly Russ Feingold, but better than nothing.
You do know Bernie has been an "establishment" politician (in that he is, & has been, undeniably, a member of the political establishment) for a long time?
You also know Senators Harris, Booker and Warren have been part of the "Washington establishment" (hello 1960!) for a shorter time period than Senator Sanders?
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
