(14,173 posts)See that is the quandary that intelligent, moderate, pragmatic D voters are in. We all, for the most part, would vote Democratic no matter who wins. And may well understand that successful inclusive politics involves pragmatism. But if we've learned anything its that its all about winning over that mushy middle. Those confused Independents, or Undecided. They may need "impossible" promises, and firey sloganeering. We have to stop giving the people what WE think they should have, and start to look around at the political landscape and give them what THEY want, or at least close to it. If the zietgeist of the times is distrust of the political established status quo, and support of whomever looks to shake things up, whether it be from the right or the left, why not the one representing the left? For a @#$%$#@ change?
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
