72. Heh heh heh..."Brownie was resigning anyway"...
Shortly after Brown was recalled to Washington last week, officials close to the FEMA director said he would likely resign. They said that even before Katrina, Brown had been planning on leaving the administration late this fall to go into the private sector.


Big difference now is that the ol' Pony Club won't be the only thing he "forgets" to put on his resume now.

"Say, weren't you FEMA director at one time?"

"Me? Oh hell no! Mike Brown's a pretty common name...I get that all the time! Naw, that wasn't me! Different Mike Brown altogether!"
