...will be Visa/Mastercard/Amex. Only the most brain-dead twit will buy things they don't need with plastic once purchases cost 150% of the sticker price (PLUS the card's finance charge).

The credit card companies...as well as retailers in general...will realize that Bush's "base" of the "haves and have mores" will not be enough to keep their bottom line afloat.

One of today's Reuters headlines was "Bush Sees Tough Resistance to His Financial Agenda" (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=578&e=3&u=/nm/20041216/pl_nm/bush_economy_dc)

...let's hope that the resistance is so tough that his "agenda" never comes to pass.
