1. Get the phone number of a local Imam or other scholar of Islam who has expressed an interest in Real Dialog.

2. Dial the phone number. Use good phone manners and let the phone ring 8-10 times if necessary.

3. Ask for the Imam. Again, good manners count. I think the proper honorific to use with an Imam is "The Honorable Imam (Given Name) (Family Name)".

For example, "Hello, my name is Guillermo-Raimondo Rednecchio. Is the Honorable Imam Ibrahim al-Jamaliya available to speak?"

4. When the Imam comes to the phone, politely greet him, and then say, "Imam, we need to talk ..."
