11. If it was his gun, then he SHOULD be in trouble any way you slice it...
If it was his kid that shot the other one, or even if the victim got ahold of it somehow and killed himself...he should be held accountable for not keeping the gun secure!

And I think he may need that lawyer...isn't it a federal crime to leave a loaded gun where a kid can get to it? Or something along those lines....
