But the thing that gets to me is the hypocrisy. These people have spent several decades maligning and denigrating anything and everyone that isn't white, well-to-do, war-supporting, bible-loving and heterosexual.

But woe be the one who dares to take a below-the-belt potshot in return, because it is an instant deluge of "goodness gracious can you believe what they said?" faux outrage.
