when your "movement" peaks too soon. Most people can't maintain that level of anger and hatred when they really aren't victims of anything.

The Civil Rights movement lasted and prevailed because there really were serious inequities discrimination. same with the women's movement. But the Tea Party seems to be more about a bunch of people who are pissed about losing an election. Their lives really haven't changed much since the election, despite all the rhetoric. So the anger just fizzles out.

They've got no answers besides their talking points, which really aren't answers. The leaders of their "movement" can't keep this going and turnout seems to show this.
