This contribution thing sounded like a reason to suspend Keith, like Griffen was waiting for a misstep so he could pounce. Very poor way to deal with personnel issues like you say, so abrupt and public, like Griffen wanted to humiliate Keith.
It takes a particular kind of asshole of the worse kind to do that- if I were Keith i'd keep my mouth shut about it (for now) and get a better gig. Don't give him a reason to fire him- because clearly Griffen wants to do just that.
