10. What are Romney's favorables?
AT 57%, Cain may still be looked at more favorably than Mitt. The only group that matters right now is the Republican base who will vote in the primaries. They don't trust that Massachusetts liberal, Romney. A lot of them think it's Romney who is trying to sully Cain's reputation and they'll double down on Cain, just to spite the GOP establishment candidate. If the rate of unfavorables is flattening, he could weather this problem, especially if he can play the victim card.

Of course, once the GOP meets his dollar drop out number - probably a mid-6 figures - he'll be more than happy to fold up his campaign and endorse Mitt. Palin is not the only one who knows how to squeeze cash from this organization.
