I was at a Lowes getting some stuff to tackle my honey-do list this morning and met a friend who teases me about writing "liberal" letters to the editor in the check out lane. I told him I considered writing a letter about the real legacy of Reagan but was too busy. This lead to some good natured bantering (he really does dislike shrimp but he did like Reagan) about what he really did to the country.

There was a lady between us and after my friend had paid for his stuff and left she turned to me and said "I thought I was the only one who felt that way about all this."

Everybody I work with felt the same way.
