44. I hope Hillary DOES run -- if she wins the nomination, she's the strongest

candidate -- the candidate with the best chance to beat Bu$h*. If she doesn't win the nomination, she'll have done plenty of good and no harm.

Specifically, Hillary has proven that she knows how to run a good campaign; therefore, even if she doesn't win the nomination, she will help mobilize the Democratic base (that's US!), and help sharpen up the Democratic message. And she'll also help take the shine off Bu$h, soften him up, and get him ready for the knock-out from whoever becomes the Democratic candidate.

And she can do these things because she WILL get media coverage. Unlike so many of our other excellent candidates that the Rethugnican corporate media is determined to ignore.

And then there's the Big Dog factor.

And even if she does not get the nomination, as a good Democrat, she WILL support the nominee. And bring all of these advantages to the nominee's campaign.

Hillary running? I see only upsides and no downsides. I hope she does.

Vitruvius

P.S: Anybody who could help trounce d'Amato, then knock Guiliani out of her race, then trounce his hand-picked replacement knows how to fight.
