BTW - I know a man who had one of the safest yet most prestigious jobs in the Army during the Vietnam War: He served his tour as a guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Washington, DC. He says it was quite rigorous. They pick only people with sterling service records, and you have to look sharp at all times.
