...less than a year before the next congressional elections, Republlicans will have to either vote for the Democratic tax plan or face losing their next election.

Senators will do the right thing too (they won't get in the way of a bill passed by the house).

Kerry should be able to get a tax bill at least between 11 and 15 months into his term.
