and then decide how you like em. I admire the bravery of their art and scripts. But it seems to me their attitude toward society and activism and liberalism is revoltingly cynical. Your generation gets inundated with that. They say you have no more heroes, and why the hell should you, given reality?
YOU must be our heroes! Parker/Stone could do so much with their opportunity, and they waste it on utter debased sarcasm. It's sad. True, they are vicious against the Right Wing too, sometimes, but basically their message is pretty much hate everybody and die, bitch. Boring Xer fatalism.Funny, but bitter & dark.
That's not what you Globals are about. I know you well. You are full of hope and practicality! Your idealism and resolve will save us! Don't get hypnotized by propoganda of any stripe, please.
