11. Well, actually yes, you do have to do reasonable friend
Otherwise what you are engaging in is gossip and innuendo. You are stating what is your own opinion as a fact, when it is truly unknown at best, and false at worst. If you engage too openly in such gossip and innuendo, you can be legally sued for slander and libel. After all, this is the land of innocent until proven guilty. Jackson was given a not guilty verdict, thus the presumption has to be his innocence.

As far as the "wacko" jury, what else can you possbily expect from them? This wasn't a case about whether or not Jackson is out there, we know that he is. The case was about molesting a young boy, and it had to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Well, beyond a reasonable doubt got thrown out the window when it was shown that the mother was a shake down artist, and the alleged victim kept changing his story. The prosecutor also performed badly by grandstanding about all of these previous boys Jackson had allegedly molested, and then was caught flat footed when the defense trotted in those very same boys, all grown up, to testify under oath that Jackson hadn't molested them. It was a poorly put on case, and the verdict was inevitable, it had to be not guilty.

Now if you wish to speculate, or opine about such matters, fine, that is your right. However, both morally and legally, stating matters that concern somebody else as a fact, rather than your opinion is poor form. Legally, Jackson is now presumed innocent, and that is the fact. Everything else is opinion. The man in the mirror very well may know, but neither you, nor I, nor anyone else does. Thus, all you can speak to is your own opinion, but not the facts of the matter. It is an important distinction in our country, one I suggest that you observe. You never know, you too could fall on the wrong side of it someday.
