8. questions
Not to take away from the coverage, it is good, I have to comment on 2 things and see what others think...

It might just be nitpicking but they say the memo says the Bush administration believed that war was inevitable. Not so, the memo says "Military action was now seen as inevitable. Bush wanted to remove Saddam, through military action"
Bush administration believed that war was inevitable could be construed as we don't have a choice, it's inevitable we're going to have to go to war.

What happened and what the memo supports is that Bush saw the war as inevitable(it's gonna happen) because he wanted to not because he had to or needed to....he wanted to...of course it wasn't "inevitable" all Bush had to do is change his mind and back off. To him it was "inevitable" simply because he had made his mind up what he wanted to do and that's what was going to happen IMO.

Second, that he "was determined to use intelligence about weapons of mass destruction to justify the ouster of Saddam". partly true except not quite enough. He was determined to misuse and "fix" intelligence to justify the ouster of Saddam.

I dunno...the rest of the article seems very positive for us. Innocent mistake or are they getting more subtle with the spin? or am I over reacting?
