Do you realize that if gun ownership was regulated in the same way as car ownership, that except for one major factor would be significantly less restrictive than the current gun laws?
The one factor is individual licensing after a safety/training course. I actually think that that is a great idea.
Just think, a gun owners license that all 50 states were required to accept, just like they have to with driver's licenses. That is certainly far more lenient than what we have today.
