How many journalist are on the take from big corporations & not disclosing

I think this is just as equally bad as taking federal funds and not disclosing. I know most might initially think that since it involves private money then who cares. But, we all know that corporations pass all costs on to the consumers, so we are pretty much paying to be propagandized whether its private or government sponsored. I feel I should know if a review article or news story on Microsoft or Apple or any other good, services or product is an independent piece and not something manufactured and paid for by a PR firm and presented as something its not.... I appreciate your thoughts.
