27. a little thing that I've noticed
Congress, like the Senate, act when they feel it is in their own best interest. True enough that most of them have cowed to * because they fear the cabal, but wait...what about the Social Security issue? Why are they refusing to tow the line on that one??? Because it is an issue that they know they will have to answer to their constituents, and their constituents want them to keep their hands off of ss.

Another factor that comes into play is their conscience---yes, many of them may still posses one. Look how Voinivich struggled(s) to do the right thing on the Bolton nomination. He knows what the administration is up to, knows what they are guilty of, and he knows what they are capable of, but yet he speaks up (kind of). I think alot of our elected officials have woke up to the smell of fascism, and they don't know what to do. My point is, if they were to feel as though there was a groundswell to give them cover, many would do the right thing.


We must get loud, we must be relentless, we cannot afford to wait for the 'perfect moment'.
