remember back in the summer of 05 on DU, the great 'Finger War'?

man, that was so cool, the division, the agony, the polarization and angst over the presidential digit. long time posters quit in throngs, and trolls went nuts seeing who could get tombstoned first.

the rules had to be changed and a new forum had to be created to handle the backflow! i've archived bookmarked and saved all those great posts from way back then, just to have a good laugh between terror attacks and breadlines.

sigh...those were the days my friend.
