Overheard at a convenience store today

Two men were talking. One was the owner of the store. Conversation drifted to gas wars that have been going on.
The owner told the customer that he had it on good authority that OUR gas prices ($1.97 Sun, $2.60 Mon, $2.57 today) would be $2.99 gallon at the end of next week, that there is a huge increase coming.
